Assets (Tag Class)
A root-level class is the top level of a hierarchical
asset. A Tag is an example of a root-level class. An Asset may have child
assets instances, therefore the Tag class is hierarchical. The hierarchy of an
asset is associated with the parent level asset class. Bridge, Span, and Apron
are all examples of child Tags.
The following topics describe the steps involved in creating Assets in AssetWise:
- Adding an Asset class to the AssetWise datasource
- Adding Attributes to the Asset class (optional)
- Setting the IsReportable property
- Regenerating the EC schema
- Creating custom forms (optional)
- Adding a Child class to the Asset class.
